With a goal to make great Napa Valley wines, Jason and Michelle Fisher and Sam and Traci Sharp established Fountainhead Cellars in 2002. The couples' combined experience in winemaking, wine sales, and marketing helped realize this ambitious project, a label based on distinct, vineyard-designated wines offered at affordable prices. Extensive grower contacts led them to Rutherford's Morisoli Borges Vineyard, which was the source for their first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2002. Other vineyard designates will follow, each wine produced by Fountainhead will reflect both the site from which it is made and the owners' shared passion for wine.
